Brooklyn’s own Derek “Divine” Morgan established Divine Filmz Entertainment in 2010. Divine takes pride in creating high level quality music videos and providing clients a first class experience no matter the project or budget. He’s directed and edited over twenty-five music videos including Its Boi’s powerful, “I’m A God” Flatbush Zak’s silky smooth, “To The Light” and Stress The Glamour Kid’s sly and cool “Beastmode”.
Divine is a self driven, committed filmmaker with a passion for visual storytelling, giving back to his community, and in the process, etched his style into the fabric of some of the planet’s most requested artists. Expanding Divine Filmz Ent, he recently formed a collaborative creative entity with Itz Boi Boi and they’ve partnered with Los Angeles based The Ganious Company planning to expand their music video catalogue as well as commercial and filmmaking productions.
Brooklyn’s bred some of the greatest rappers to grace the earth and Its Boi Boi fits right in. From the gritty streets of Flatbush, Brooklyn—home to a mashup of Caribbean flavor blended with African-American soul, grew up in a household of old school Reggae and R&B music which would cultivate his ear for the sound. The beat. The rhythm. The mood. But when he heard, Eric B. and Rakim’s raw, unfiltered, power heavy, “I Ain’t No Joke” on Ralph MacDaniel’s "Video Music Box", he knew he found his passion—Hip hop.
Under the alias, Baby Boi Nate In 2010, Boi Boi appeared in the “Next to Blow” section of the HIP HOP WEEKLY magazine. In 2011, he dropped the mixtape, "Motion Picture,” featuring well-received tracks that garnered great feedback on songs such as the jaw-dropping, ”I Gets It In", "Jezebel", "Building Muscles", and the heart-pounding, mesmerizing, “Microphone Murder”.
Boi Boi’s evolution led him back to the lab where he came out fresh, unhinged with a new name, Itz Boi Boi and music amped to a whole new level —raw, emboldened, and liberated. This is what makes his music so dope. This itch to liberate the message in his heart. In 2016, Its Boi Boi dropped the remake of Jay Z’s classic cut, "Can I Live”, produced by Luckaveli. In 2017 he dropped the banger, “What It Look Like” produced by Jelz of, "Thee Elite”, that found a deep underground popularity in clubs all over New York City. In 2018 Its Boi Boi released the single "GOTTA GET IT " and in 2019, he dropped his signature track, “I’m A God”. Itz Boi Boi has partnered with Director Divine of Divine Filmz Ent to expand the production company into a formidable entity in the world of not only music video production, but in commercials and feature films as well.
